The cheapest source of new business for any organization is their existing customers. The more satisfied you keep your customers, the more money you will make. But you have to find those customers first. Here are eight ways that will help you do just that.

Use marketing forums

Marketing forums are forums that cater to social media marketing, search engine optimization, content marketing, and other forms of digital online marketing. Find these forums and figure out their marketplace sub-forums. These are the places on those forums where people buy and sell services. These are places where people sell data entry, traffic generation, existing websites, social media accounts, so on and so forth.

Look for these subforums and look for ads posted by either seller of fan pages or buyers of such fan pages. There are there are quite a bit of these subforums on the internet. You just have to put in the time to research. Some of the few top marketing forums available today are BlackHatWorld and WarriorForum. These are the top dogs, but there are plenty of other, smaller marketing forums out there.

Marketing forum signature links

If you find yourself in a forum that does not have a marketplace sub-forum that deals specifically with buying and selling fan pages, do not worry. Hope is not lost. Why? You can still market your fan pages for sale in a subtle way. How? Advertise your buy-and-sell website through your forum signature. Believe it or not, people do pay attention to forum signatures, especially if you tend to post and answer questions that help other community members.

Hunt for buying-specific discussion threads

Even if you find yourself in the forum that does not have that marketplace for buying and selling social media, they might have discussions about the importance of purchasing such accounts. If that is the case, you only need to participate in those discussion threads and gently mention your service. Of course, you have to do this in a non-spammy way. The best way to do this is to get a virtual assistant to bump the discussion by replying to it. As other people reply, you can then include your reply and just mention the generic name of your website. This means that when people enter the brand name of your website, they end up on your site. Do not post the link because that is too spammy.

Comment on blog posts talking about the value of Facebook pages

Many blogs talk about online marketing and social media marketing in particular. Many of these blogs have comment sections. Look for these blogs and try to find discussions. Try to find posts that talk about a Facebook page marketing or social media marketing. Comment on the blog posts using your name but link your name to your to the website where you buy and sell your assets. It is essential to make sure in your comment that you do not post a link there. Also, you cannot be spammy. So it is a good idea to subtly refer to the fact that you are selling fan pages.

An excellent example of this is when the blog post talks about fan pages. You then comment and pick apart the features that they talked about. You say that that you also look for those same features in addition to other features when you buy Facebook accounts for development. Then you will mention that your customers are happy because your attention to detail paid off well for them. Feel free to modify that. But the key here is to is not to be blatant. You cannot just come out and say that you are you have Facebook pages for sale and people can make a lot of money. You have to be more subtle about it.

Find active blogs and offer to sell them your Facebook pages

Look for very active blogs on social media platforms except for Facebook. These blogs get a lot of visitors, and they obviously have a lot of activity because there are lots of comments, likes, and retweets of their content. However, when you try to look them up on Facebook, you draw a blank for some reason. They do not have an active account on Facebook, but these blogs are quite active on Google+, Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram.

If you see this disconnect and end disparity, reach out to the blog and tell them that you have an existing Facebook account in their niche that they can quickly and effectively rebrand, so they get a head start on Facebook. Tell them that you already have fans, activity, so they just need to change the logo and the cover and they are good to go. Usually, highly active blogs would see the value in this and might eagerly buy your existing page.

Find active accounts on Twitter

Find accounts that are very active on Twitter but have a fairly weak or inexistent account on Facebook. Talk to them about selling your fan page. That fan page must be in the same niche system. It also must be clear that they only need to make a few changes for them to totally rebrand your fan page.

Finding specific active accounts on YouTube

If you notice that there are specific channels on YouTube that have a lot of daily activity and tons of views, while completely being absent on Facebook. Offer them your niche specific Facebook page and tell them that your user base is already interested in their content. This way, they just need to rebrand the page, and they are in business. Also, remind them that they can cross promote their highly active YouTube channel and their Facebook page. They can use their YouTube account to build up their Facebook following and then get lower organic members from Facebook and pump that to their YouTube channel.

Find niche specific active commercial accounts on Instagram

If you find an Instagram account that caters to a specific brand in your niche, reach out to that account. Why? Because they might have a need for a Facebook audience. Alternatively, they might already have an account on Facebook, but it might not be doing all that well. Whatever the case may be, you were giving them a better value by giving them an alternative social channel for their brand.
